Dentistry FAQ's

We have membership plans available to our patients who don’t have traditional dental insurance.

This is designed to provide financial support to our patients who are concerned about receiving dental treatment without dental insurance.

If you are a new patient and have any questions about our dental membership plans, just get in touch and we will be happy to answer any questions you have.

Yes! We have a dedicated team that work with people of all ages. We encourage good dental health from a young age and we have a friendly team who will help your child understand the importance of dental health and will always use a gentle touch when performing any procedures from dental implants to cleaning to make them feel safe and comfortable.

General dentistry or family dentistry services focus on maintaining dental care and preventing potential issues.

We offer all general dentist services and tailor each service to your needs to ensure optimal oral health.

Regular Check-ups are crucial for identifying potential dental issues and preventing future issues.

Dental Cleaning is extremely important for maintaining good oral health, preventing tooth decay and keeping your gums healthy.

Fillings are required when cavities occur to prevent further decay and to save the tooth. These are common procedures that our team are highly experienced in and are quick and relatively pain-free procedures.

If you have a cracked tooth,  are experiencing sensitivity or have a large silver filling that is breaking down, Crowns and Bridges are available at Relax Dental as a permanent solution to fixing these issues.

Dental Implants are often used for those missing teeth or with damaged teeth to help restore confidence and a natural smile.

We offer complete dental care services, including x rays, to restore and improve physical function and overall health.

If you’re experiencing a dental emergency such as a broken tooth or sudden sharp pains, get in touch immediately to arrange a visit to our dental office to address the issue and receive the urgent dental care you need.

Cosmetic Dentistry consists of a range of services that focus on physical appearance and alterations.

Teeth Whitening is a very common procedure that we carry out daily to help remove stains and brighten smiles.

Veneers are thin porcelain shells that are used to correct discoloration, misalignments and chipper teeth.

Clear Aligner Therapy is a popular alternative to braces that we offer for those looking to gradually straighten their teeth more discretely than by using traditional braces.

All-on-4 Dentures provides a permanent and natural fix to replace missing teeth and help clients to feel more confident again.

Whether you’re looking for a complete smile makeover or to fix a small imperfection, our experienced team understands how important these changes are to our patients, so you can trust our team to help you achieve the perfect smile.

Roots and tissue inside your teeth can become infected by bacteria as a result of injury or a cavity that’s left untreated. If you don’t get to a dentist in time, the infected tissue in abscessed teeth can reach the pulp, or root, of your tooth. A severely infected tooth can lead to tooth loss. To ensure a healthy mouth and healthy smile, get in touch with our dental practice and our team are happy to help.

If you have an infected tooth, you might experience a significant amount of discomfort. Infected tooth symptoms can include:

  • Inflamed gums
  • Tooth soreness while chewing
  • Intense tooth sensitivity to hot and cold temperatures
  • Bad breath
  • Pus near the infected tooth
  • Painful aching in your jaw and mouth
  • A darker colored tooth
  • A small pimplelike bump on your gums

The best way to determine if you have an infected tooth is to Call Relax Dental and our team will be able to book you in for a dental checkup. Our dedicated dentist will be able to assess the issue further and help relieve pain you are experiencing.

While the services are the same, family dentistry offers general dentistry services to patients of all ages, including children. So whether you or your child are looking for any general dental services such as dental cleaning, fillings, a root canal or just a check-up, Relax Dental is your trusted dental clinic for this.

Dental visits are recommended every 6-12 months for standard preventive care check-ups and dental cleaning to ensure your teeth are always an optimal health.

Additional visits are sometimes required for those undergoing cosmetic treatment plans that might take more than one session.

If you are experiencing pain or discomfort in your teeth or gums, we advise making an appointment as soon as possible to address the issue and get the complete dental care you need to prevent it from worsening rather than waiting for your next scheduled appointment.

If you are experiencing any pain or discomfort, we suggest making an appointment immediately. If you’re experiencing less severe issues like bad breath, teeth grinding, sensitivity to hot or cold, bleeding while brushing, we also recommend you make an appointment so we can address the issue as quickly as possible to prevent further damage and ensure a healthy mouth and smile.
