The screen flickers in front of you. The hero of the story is about to come face-to-face with the enemy she has been chasing the entire movie.
You grab a handful of popcorn while never taking your eyes off the screen. You bite down — hard — and into an unpopped kernel. You hear a strange crunch. You feel some pain.
At this point, the movie is no longer your concern. You race to the nearest restroom to look in the mirror. You can’t believe what you are seeing.
You broke your tooth!
Fix Your Smile
By getting a dental crown, your tooth can be as good as new. Modern dental crowns are made with ceramic materials that look like your natural teeth.
Crowns are an effective restorative treatment for a number of dental problems:
- Broken teeth
- Cracked teeth
- Chipped teeth
- Decayed teeth
- Discolored teeth
- Lost teeth (when added to an implant)
- Misshapen teeth
- Worn-down teeth
With your crown, you will have your smile back. You also will regain your ability to bite and chew without problems. Repairing your tooth doesn’t need to be complicated. Make an appointment with our team, and let us work on your behalf.
How It Happens
Getting a crown is a simple process:
- First, we reshape the damaged tooth. This is done by removing enamel, so it can support your crown.
- We will scan your teeth to come up with the right size and shape for your dental crown to match the rest of your smile.
- Next, your crown is made in our in-house milling machine using CAD/CAM technology.
- After your crowns is shaded to blend in with your natural smile, we will bond it to your tooth.
- Then, you get to leave with a complete smile.
We are able to do this in a single appointment with our CEREC technology. Without this equipment, you would have to wear a temporary crown for at least a few weeks while a dental lab created your crown. Same-day crowns enable you to get back to living your life with fewer appointments.
We have done this enough to know that some people are hesitant to get the care they need because of dental anxiety. We have a solution for that, too. In addition to our comfort amenities, you have three sedation options to keep you calm and pain-free during your visits.
