See How We Do Restorative Dentistry
When patients come in with prosthetic challenges, which is what we call it, you know, when a patient is missing teeth or is on the verge of losing teeth, you know, those are restorative prosthetic challenges. As I mentioned previously, we do a very comprehensive workout, and we write up an extensive treatment plan. And we sit down with them, and we review that thoroughly.
Our goal is to make sure that we answer all their questions and that they understand everything that’s required to give them what they want, again, not what we want, but what they want. We also inform them of things that they need, that they may not know that they want, but things that are prerequisite to giving them what they want. And so we make sure they understand all of that.
We use all of the latest technology and armamentarium that the profession has to offer to do the procedures that we provide. And as I say, we’re very conscious of a patient’s comfort, relief of any treatment anxiety that they have. And we do that throughout the course of their treatment, whether it’s under local anesthesia, conscious sedation, or general anesthesia.
We make sure patients are completely comfortable with whatever we do. And in that way, once their treatment is completed, we make sure that we’ve touched all the bases. We make sure that they’re satisfied with what has been done, and we put them on a home care and a recare regiment that keeps all of that in place for them.
